How can inpatient rehabilitation help me?
Inpatient rehabilitation helps you regain your independence through individually tailored and intensive therapy, with medical and nursing support as required.
This may be following orthopedic surgery, a fracture or if you have significant loss of function and impairments after a medical illness or surgery.
What to expect
Your rehabilitation team will be led by a Rehabilitation Physician and consist of nursing staff, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and other allied health disciplines as required.
You will be seen twice daily by your physiotherapist. This will be in the gym for a session in the morning and either the gym or our hydrotherapy pool in the afternoon.
