Where Do I Start?

Navigating aged care can be a daunting task.

We would be honoured to care for you as you age.

How do I access aged care?

First steps to receiving aged care

Firstly, we recommend following these steps:

  1. Learn about different types of care.
Please get in touch to discuss your needs and what care options are the best for you and your family. All our packages are tailored to your individual needs
  2. Get assessed for aged care services.
This is done via an ACAT (aged care assessment team) assessment and is a necessary step before receiving aged care. ACAT is required to secure government funding for care and also needed before moving into a residential aged care home. You can start the ACAT process at My Aged Care.
  3. Find a provider in your area that suits your needs.
We would be honoured for you to choose our team at St Luke’s Care to care for you. Contact us to see how we can assist you and your family.
  4. Manage your care and change it as your needs change.
All our programs are tailored to your individual needs and are adaptable as those needs change
