Join our community choir

Our choir meets weekly on a Tuesday afternoon to come together and sing classic songs and tunes. These sessions are a fun and social activity for those living with dementia and their carers.

Music is known to help reduce anxiety and depression in people living with dementia. It can help maintain speech and language, reignite lost memories, stimulate cognition and enhance quality of life.

Carers comment on the positive impact singing has on their loved one after a choir session and report a noticeable improvement in mood and cognition.

Upcoming Dates:
Choir meets every Tuesday at 2pm in the Terrace Room at St Luke’s Private Hospital.

New comers and current choir members are all welcome. The choir is free to join and participate in.
