Dr Sofia Smirnova

Dr Sofia Smirnova is a qualified Obstetrician and Gynaecologist based primarily at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, Prince of Wales Private Hospital and St Luke’s Private Hospital. Dr Smirnova holds a Master of Medicine degree in Reproductive Health and Human Genetics from the University of Sydney.

Dr Smirnova is dedicated to provide the best health care to women of all ages. Her goal to keep women healthy for a lifetime by optimising health, preventing disease, identifying and managing problems providing a level of care and attention that is both professional and compassionate.

Dr Smirnova believes that a physician’s role in caring for women is to optimise health and remedy problems as early as possible for every stage of their lives.

Dr Smirnova specialises in advanced laparoscopic pelvic surgery with special interest in endometriosis, management of benign pelvic gynaecological pathology as well as colposcopy and management of abnormal pap smears.
