Working together to make a difference

Since its establishment by a voluntary board in 1919, St Luke's Care has had a long and vibrant culture of volunteerism. It is a tradition that still continues today. Volunteers and their unique skills are always valued and we sincerely appreciate their expertise and help in a wide range of services, including administration, catering, fundraising, patient support and engaging with our residents.

Volunteers2Lulworth House

At Lulworth House, we encourage volunteers to do what they love while engaging with our residents. It might be exploring a Facebook feed, reading a favourite book, gardening or simply enjoying a cuppa and a chat.

All volunteers who work within the aged care services or have contact with aged care residents must be screened and hold a current police check certificate.

Volunteers 1Hospital and Foundation

Volunteers play an important role in our hospital, and help provide our renowned quality care with a personal touch. Within the hospital, we require volunteers for the patients' convenience trolley, which offers snacks, toiletries, books and small items for patients on long stays. We also require volunteers to help guide patients and children through day surgery admission.
