Since graduating as an osteopath in 1997 Phil has gone on to complete a Masters and a PhD in pain medicine and now work as an osteopath and a pain researcher. This allows him to combine a broad range of osteopathic techniques and current evidence from theirs and others work to give a more integrated approach to health care.


Phil’s passion lies in person-centered treatment that focuses on pain and exercise education. Phil is especially interested in the relationship between mood and sleep on the severity and persistence of musculoskeletal pain. ​


Phil also work as a clinical tutor for the Masters program in Clinical Management of Pain at the University of Sydney and as a pain and palliative care research fellow at Greenwich Hospital.
