Since graduating as an osteopath in 1997 Phil has gone on to complete a Masters and a PhD in pain medicine and now work as an osteopath and a pain researcher. This allows him to combine a broad range of osteopathic techniques and current evidence from theirs and others work to give a more integrated approach to health care.

Phil’s passion lies in person-centered treatment that focuses on pain and exercise education. Phil is especially interested in the relationship between mood and sleep on the severity and persistence of musculoskeletal pain.

Phil also work as a clinical tutor for the Masters program in Clinical Management of Pain at the University of Sydney and as a pain and palliative care research fellow at Greenwich Hospital.
