A/Prof Nigel Hope specialises in minimally invasive meniscal surgery as well as arthroscopy, patient-specific knee joint replacement and anterior approach hip surgery. He performs all knee procedures tourniquet-free to help prevent post-operative bruising and damage and has a special interest in the “Female Knee” – which looks at the biomechanical and hormonal issues related to knee conditions.

Dr Hope is conveniently located next to the Queen Victoria building and also has offices at St Luke’s Clinic and the SAN. He is an Orthopaedics lecturer at the University of Notre Dame and a popular GP educator and media commentator (2GB Sydney). Dr Hope focuses on compassionate, holistic care with an emphasis on surgery only when necessary.
