VolunteersWorking together to make a difference

Since its establishment by a voluntary board in 1919, St Luke's Care has had a long and vibrant culture of volunteerism. It is a tradition that still continues today.

We are very fortunate to have a wonderful team of volunteers who work tirelessly to help drive the Foundation throughout the year. They work hard, achieve amazing results and have a lot of fun.

St Luke's would like to acknowledge the extraordinary dedication and vital contribution which our volunteers bring to the mission and vision of St Luke's Care and our community.

Volunteers and their unique skills are always valued and we sincerely appreciate their expertise and help in a wide range of services, including administration, catering, fundraising, patient support and caring for the frail and aged.

All volunteers who work within the aged care services or have contact with aged care residents must be screened and hold a current police check certificate. Volunteers may require special training in some cases prior to commencement.

If you have any time available to help out – a few hours or a few days – we would welcome your support with open arms. Please call our Volunteer Coordinator on (02) 9356 0428 or (02) 9356 0277 to discuss your interests and availability or contact us via email foundation@slc.org.au
