Quality & AccreditationSt Luke's culture of excellence

When it comes to your health there is no room to compromise on quality. From our people and care protocols to our rooms and facilities, you can expect an extremely high standard of care at St Luke's.

St Luke's Hospital currently has full Accreditation status from the Australian Council of Healthcare Standards, the leading standards body for hospitals in Australia. This is a ringing endorsement for our culture of personalised patient care which has the highest priority, underpinned by equally high standards of comprehensive safety and quality programs in all areas.

We always aim for best practice in clinical and non-clinical areas alike, and for more than 30 years, we have achieved the highest level of Accreditation by the Australian Council of Healthcare standards.

St Luke's Hospital is an Associate Teaching Hospital of the University of New South Wales and provides access to teaching and training for doctors undertaking specialist postgraduate training.

We take pride in rigorous staff employment and training processes supported by staff appraisal and training programs. Our specialist staff also provides training and education to other health professionals and the hospital regularly hosts clinical training seminars and surgical training workshops for nursing and medical specialists.
