St Luke's self-contained Surgical Short Stay Centre contains a reception/waiting area, examination and consulting rooms, pre-operative facilities and a spacious 14 bed recovery ward.
The centre is located adjacent to our theatre suite which ensures fast and easy access for patients, doctors, surgeons and anaesthetists.
The unit, which is modern and spacious, has comfortable waiting areas for friends and family with private individual recovery bays each with their own television sets and amenities.
We also offer a separate child-friendly area and facilities for children who are patients along with their parents. There is a fun play space with toys and a wide screen TV with DVDs to entertain our youngest patients.
