We want your visit to hospital to be pleasant and stress-free, so we go out of our way to provide extra services and comforts. Sometimes the little things can make a big difference.
Every weekday you'll find our friendly volunteers doing their rounds with the trolley shop that comes to you. They offer gifts, treats, snacks and small personal items to help you feel at home. Pick-up and delivery personal laundry and dry cleaning services can also be arranged.
When you're up and about, our Nightingale Café offers a tempting selection of light food and refreshments and is open for patients and visitors from 9.00am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday.
Our chaplaincy service provides pastoral and religious ministry to patients, their families and staff. Representatives of all religions are welcome and you can invite your Minister, Priest, Rabbi or Spiritual Guide to visit privately if you prefer.
When it's time for you to head home after a rehabilitation stay, St Luke's Hospital offers physiotherapy, rehabilitation services and social work staff to assist with and discuss your needs, including planning for discharge and ongoing care. Our occupational therapists can assess your home and work environment and organise strategies and any necessary equipment.
