The St Luke's Care Board includes:
Company Director. Julian spent 25 years in investment banking, and was an Executive Director of Macquarie Bank Limited until 1996. He is a Director of Sydney Roads Group, Chairman of Airport Motorway Limited (M1), Statewide Roads Limited (M4), Interlink Roads Pty Ltd (M5) and Southern Cross Exports Pty Ltd. He is also on the Boards of ConnectEast (Eastlink), Grange Asset Management Limited and Artbank. Appointed to the Board in 1995; Elected Chairman in 2004.
Medical Director of SDS Pathology. Ivan has 31 years experience in public and private pathology including Chairman of the Management Committee of Hornsby and Kuring-gai Hospital and President of Australian Association of Pathology Practices. Appointed to the Board in July 2000.
Chartered Accountant for 33 years, Peter is also Director and Treasurer of St. John Ambulance Australia (NSW) and a Director of Tenpin Bowling Australia Limited. Appointed to the Board in 1992.
Charles is Chief Executive of Merryck & Co Australasia a global business leader mentoring business. Prior to that Charles has held senior management positions at Commonwealth Bank in Sydney, Deutsche Bank Global Asset Management in London and the Thomas Cook Group in New York.
Jo was a nurse academic at the University of Sydney for 13 years and is a Member of the Australian College of Holistic Nursing National Management Committee, a Member of the Council for the Australian Foundation for Health Touch Inc., Chairman of the Management Advisory Board at Lou's Place – a day centre for homeless women. Appointed to the Board in 2002.
Gynaecologist. Michael is a Visiting Medical Officer and Head of General Gynaecology at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Head of Gynaecology at St Luke's Hospital, has an appointment at St Vincent's Private Hospital and is accredited at Sydney IVF for assisted conception. He is also a Clinical Senior Lecturer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Sydney University. Appointed to the Board in August 2007.
Appointed to the Board in 2004; Deputy Chairman from 2004 to 2007.
Solicitor and Claims Manager at United Medical Protection. Malcolm is also a Consultant Surgeon to Sydney Hospital and St. Vincent's Hospital. Appointed to the Board in 1994.
Company Director. Julia was appointed to the Board in October 2000 and appointed Chairman of St Luke's Hospital Foundation in November 2000.
Company Director. Simon is a Director of Capilano Limited and of Water Wheel Foods Ltd and Chairman Capital Foods Australia. He recently retired as Vice President of Kimberly Clark Corporation, and earlier had 10 years Senior Management experience with Esso. Appointed to the Board in February 2004.
